Joining Datashift means being part of a team of entrepreneurial individuals who are passionate about data and who have the know-how to deliver great results for our clients. We are looking for an AI Ethics Lead who will act as business partner in responsible AI for our clients.

Your responsibilities

As an AI Ethics lead, you will:

  • Be our specialist in ethical AI towards internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee ethical guidelines and governance frameworks for AI development and deployment. Make AI ethics principles part of operations within a company.
  • Educate and train team members and clients on AI ethics, fostering a culture of ethical awareness and responsibility.
  • Conduct ethical reviews and assessments of AI projects, providing guidance and recommendations to ensure ethical alignment.
  • Collaborating with AI developers, data scientists deployment.
  • Monitor the evolving landscape of AI technology & regulations to anticipate and address new challenges.
  • Advising on ethical sourcing and use of data, as well as on issues of privacy and consent.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and fairness in AI systems and practices.

Your qualifications

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in consulting or service-oriented environments, with at least 2 years specifically in the area of AI.
  • Knowledge of established frameworks designed to address ethical challenges that arise in the development and application of AI.
  • Understanding of techniques used to detect and mitigate bias in machine learning models.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the inherent challenges in making AI decisions transparent and be skilled in explaining these complexities to a diverse audience, ranging from AI experts to those with little to no technical background.
  • Interest in structuring and enlarging the DataShift AI offering to support more clients in their AI Transformation journeys
  • Being able to deliver highly impactful activities against tight deadlines
  • Proven track record in addressing AI challenges within project scopes and delivering sustainable solutions and frameworks across industries.
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in Dutch is considered a big plus.
